Terms & Conditions
Warranties
All products are sold with a full manufacturer's warranty. The Green Cone
unit, comprising the four-part injection moulded lower basket, inner cone,
outer cone and lid, is subject to the warranty terms and conditions set out
below.
Green Cone Ltd warrants each new Green Cone unit to be of good materials and
workmanship and will repair or exchange any parts proven to be defective in
material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 10 years from date
of sale, except as provided by the limitations below.
Green Cone Ltd warrants each new Green Johanna unit to be of good materials and workmanship and will repair or exchange any parts proven to be defective in
material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 5 years from date
of sale, except as provided by the limitations below.
The warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable.
A suitable proof of purchase, showing date and place of purchase must be made
available to Green Cone Ltd at the time of request for warranty service.
The Green Cone Ltd warranty policy does not apply to Green Cone or Green Johanna units that have been subjected to accident, abuse, misuse, shipping damage, alterations, and/or incorrect assembly or installation.
Defects may only be corrected by authorized Green Cone Ltd personnel.
Green Cone Ltd assumes no responsibility for damage or injury incurred during
installation or use of the Green Cone unit.
Green Cone Ltd shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential or
special (including punitive or multiple) damages.
Delivery
Items are delivered using major international and national freight carriers,
such as DHL, UPS, ANC or Royal Mail.
Unless prior special arrangements are made, deliveries cannot be made to
PO Boxes.
All goods must be inspected for damage or breakage immediately upon receipt.
Green Cone Ltd make every effort to use recycled packaging materials and
request that all its suppliers, freight carriers and customers reuse or recycle all packaging materials where practical.
Delivery Charges
For purchases by individuals, any post and packaging costs are identified on
the website's Shopping Basket order form.
Bulk delivery charges are based upon the weight and size of the order and
the delivery location. Bulk orders often cannot be sent express or next
day delivery because of their excessive weight and size. Delivery charges
are always explicitly stated when a quote is given for a bulk purchase.
The full delivery cost is automatically charged for any shipment that is
refused by the recipient without prior notification.
Payment
Green Cone Ltd standard terms of payment for account holders are 30 days from the date of the invoice. These terms apply in all cases unless different terms are agreed in writing at the time the order is accepted. If payment is not made on the
due date, Green Cone Ltd will be entitled to charge interest daily on the
outstanding balance at the rate of 3% above Barclays Bank PLC base lending
rate.
Damaged Goods
If an item is received damaged or broken, the carrier must be notified
immediately and the Green Cone Ltd sales office contacted to remedy the
situation. Tracking numbers must be retained and all damaged goods and
packaging kept for later inspection by the carrier.
Exchanges
Green Cone Ltd will exchange within 30 days any product purchased on this
site, provided the buyer covers the shipping charges. Exchange requirements
should be emailed to admin@greencone.com
Returns
To receive a prompt refund from Green Cone Ltd, items must be returned
within 14 days of delivery, with shipping and insurance prepaid
(no C.O.D's can be accepted). The original shipping fees cannot be
refunded. Before returning any item, first email admin@greencone.com or
call Freephone 0800 731 2572 (UK ONLY) for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. No returns of any type will be accepted without a RMA Number, which is valid for 14 days.
Consumables that have been opened can only be returned for exchange or
credit. All other items that are returned must be in 'as-new' condition,
in original packaging and with all warranty cards, manuals and accessories.
Discrepancies or damages could result in a delay or partial forfeiture of
any credit. All returned items are subject to a 15% restocking fee
(dependent on the item). Returns will be arranged by Green Cone Ltd.
Please allow 10-21 days for credit.
Delays and Back Orders
Most orders are processed the same day they are received. Products in stock
are normally shipped within 7 days, drop-ship items within 28 days. Where an
item is out-of-stock an estimate of availability will be provided. If
shipment has been delayed for other reasons, notification will be provided
in order that revised delivery arrangements can be made. Credit cards are
not usually charged until the item is ready to ship. Green Cone Ltd makes
every possible effort to honour customer requests.
