Spelthorne Borough Council has teamed up with Green Cone Limited to supply the popular Green Cone food digester and its sibling, the Green Johanna to residents in the Borough at a greatly reduced rate. click on "Discounts" and enter your post code
The aim of the partnership is to encourage homeowners to take responsibility for managing food waste and diversion of organic material from landfill.
The food digesters are £15 for the Green Cone and £20 for the Green Johanna.

Wiltshire County Council
Wiltshire County Council are working to reduce the amount of waste generated in the County, as a result the County Council are subsidising the Green Cone food waste digester and the Green Johanna food waste digester/composter for residents of Wiltshire.
The Green Cone food waste digester is available for Wiltshire residents at the subsidised price £20.00 (£19.00 if ordered on the web) delivered to your home. (Normal price £79.50)
The Green Johanna composter/food digester is available for Wiltshire residents at the subsidised price of £25.00 (£24.00 if ordered on the web) delivered to your home. (Normal price £113.94)

Woking Borough Council is currently conducting trials of both the Green Cone and Green Johanna units, with a view to implement on a wider scale if successful. The trial is now full; but watch this space for the possibility of a promotion later in the year.

Mole Valley District Council are working to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill in Surrey, as a result they are subsidising the Green Cone food waste digester for residents of Mole Valley. East Sussex County Council
East Sussex County Council are making Green Cones available to all their residents at the subsidised price of £9.95 (Normal price £79.50) if collected from participating garden centres or can be delivered to your home for an extra £5.00 delivery charge total £14.95
Green Johanna composter/food digester are also available for East Sussex residents at the subsidised price of £19.95 including home delivery (Normal price £113.94)
The Green Johanna cannot be collected from garden centres at the moment.

For the sixth year running West Sussex County Council will be subsidising the Green Cone and Green Johanna during 2007.
This years promotion will start on 1st April 2007 and leaflets will be Distributed by the Council across the districts.
